Black Tie 4 Breast Cancer

Black Tie 4 Breast Cancer (BT4BC) has been working with the Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation to raise funds to benefit breast cancer patients receiving treatment at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick. In particular, they are raising funds for the development of the Cancer Centre at the Prince of Wales Hospital.
ABOUT US
BT4BC was formed in February 2009 by Brianna Parbury, chair of the BT4BC organizing committee, whose mother had been receiving treatment for metastatic breast cancer at the Prince of Wales Hospital and passed away in May 2009. Alongside Brianna, each founding committee member has been affected in some way by breast cancer and as a result has been motivated to raise funds for a very worthy cause.
In 2010, the Committee held there first inaugural Black Tie for Breast Cancer Charity Gala which attracted 430 guests and raised $100, 000 for the Cancer Centre at the Prince of Wales Hospital. In 2011, the event was back by popular demand with over 600 guests in attendance who each helped raise a further $145, 000. The Committee is currently in the process of organizing the 2012 event.
