POWH Foundation Volunteer Information Evening
On April 3 The Prince of Wales Foundation held a Call for Volunteers evening
in the EBB Functions Room, POWH.
The evening was organised to encourage local business, residents and
corporations to become involved in the POWH Foundation to assist us with our
fundraising efforts.
Leanne Zalapa, CEO, made a colourful presentation to our potential
volunteers. We had a wonderful turn out, signing up 35 new volunteers who want
to become involved in our fantastic calendar of events for 2007-08 including
Hollywood Nights, Take Two, the 4th annual Ride For Life Charity Cycling Event,
our annual Art & Jewellery Shows, International Nurses Day and more.
Don't worry if you couldn't make it on the night it's not too late to
volunteer..call us on 9382 4263 and find out how you can be a part of the POWH
Foundation.
