Our Wellbeing Team

This year, we have heard time and time again about the importance of our wellbeing, not only physically, but mentally. Our Hospital is privileged to have a “Wellbeing Nursing Leaders” team who dedicate much of their time to ensuring wellbeing in our staff and patients.

To our nursing leaders, wellbeing means “embracing a life, choices and opportunities that bring about a fuller and more meaningful existence” and “prioritizing my physical and mental health by eating well, exercising, meditating and connecting with people” as well as “taking the time to look after yourself, build resilience and using your strengths.”

Our nursing leaders best hope for wellbeing at our Hospital is ‘to be able to apply meaning in the workplace and engage with our accomplishments in providing excellent patient care and “that staff and patients feel that their wellbeing is a priority” as well as “that all staff fully commit to prioritizing the importance of self-care and wellbeing so that we as a health care community thrive together.”

‘Mindfulness Mondays’ are held each Monday for staff from 2:30-3:30pm in the Level 3, Michael Donnellan Meeting room. Please be sure to join us next time, all staff are welcome!
