‘Heartbreakers’ Team

Each year our ‘Heartbreakers’ team lace up their runners and tackle the famous City2Surf run all in support of patient care at our Hospital. The 'Heartbreakers' team has been kicking running and fundraising goals for over 10 years, headed by the incredible team captain Fabian, who works in the Hospital’s IT department. Since its inception, the 'Heartbreakers' have raised over $300,000 for improvements in patient care and designated projects.

Our participants pledged to complete 30km ‘their way’ over one week and raise funds for the Healthcare Heroes that support our community.
