Our Artspace and Current Exhibitions

The Art Space is a community engagement program which provides artists throughout NSW a unique opportunity to exhibit and sell their works as well as fundraise for the Hospital’s area of greatest need. 30% of all sales go directly to where it is needed most.

Hospitals around the word recognise the important role art plays as a healing tool. In a sometimes stressful environment, artwork can benefit patients by aiding in their physical, mental and emotional recovery, relieving anxiety and decreasing their perception of pain.

If you are interested in purchasing an artwork or exhibiting, please contact Madeleine on 02 9382 4018 or email madeleine@powhf.org.au

Olga Kolesnik

Olga's works explore communication between bold, vibrant, energetic colours and human emotions. Olga believes that our relationship with colours works both ways, they influence our feelings and, the other way around, our mood or personality dictates what colours we dislike, love or choose. Olga works in both, abstract and representational styles. Her paintings are influenced by such artists as Klimt and Van Gogh, Gauguin and Peploe, Matisse and Derain, Delaunay and Metzinger, N.Goncharova and Lentulov, Kandinsky and Margaret Preston.
